oh, mann! nachdem iphone und ipod nano da sind, geht der apple-hype wieder los. jetzt aber richtig. so sollen am 14. oktober nicht nur die neuen macbooks/pros erscheinen – vielmehr geht es um nichts weniger als “die grösste erfindung apples in den letzten 10 jahren”. und das sagt nicht irgendeiner, sonder apple-intimus seth weintraub von 9to5mac.com.

um was gehts? um nichts geringeres, als um eine neue fabrik von steve jobs, die glaubs nicht mehr unbeingt beim jetztigen produzenten foxconn steht, sondern was eigenes sei, wo – jetzt festhalten – die neuen macbooks per laser uns höchstdruckwasserstrahl aus einem ganzen block aluminium gefräst werden – “the brick” halt.

die neue fertigungsmethode setze laut weintraub der form des macs keine grenzen – und sei obendrein erst noch billiger und habe stabilere gehäuse zur folge.
